Then i tried a fake windows installation (so move your .wine out of the way and run winesetup again!) - and it worked then!

Sound is almost not understandable (except for long running sounds); it lloks to me like sound is stopped as soon as its all in the buffer (but not yet all played);
I'm going to try now regular wine without that transgaming patch.
Then i'll try to change the load order.

P.S.
Sometimes HL starting works, sometimes it just hangs in the loading screen... no pattern yet; havn't tried a lot neither.
