But I've never had a problem with it whatsoever.  When I originally installed the retail (1.0.0.9 I believe), it always stalled when it tried to verify the CD copy protection, but after upgrading to 1.1.0.4 it works just fine, starting from menu, loading/saving from menu, etc.  Is the single-player info on this page outdated or am I just lucky?
