Z||000000||andy||02-01-2001||05:39 PM||h00andoh@du.se||Hi.
My system:
PII-266, 192Mb RAM, ASUS V3800agp TNT2 32Mb. RedHat 7.0 - xfree86 4.0.1a
My problem:
I installed/configured Wine/half-life, followed the HOW-TO. Everything worked "normal", this was with my ATI Rage Pro - 8mb agp, then I switched card to my TNT2, reconfigured X, that works fine. Now, when I start half-life the screen mess up bigtime, black and white. I have reinstalled HL, but that didn't solve anything...
May it be a solution to recompile wine?
grateful for help. /Andy

Z||000002||andy||02-02-2001||05:31 AM||h00andoh@du.se||Hi. Yep, tried that. But it seems to me that whatever I change in the configfile it doesn't have any affect on the screen when I run the game...?
The strange in that is, when I had my ATI it did

What I prefer is to delete/rename all wine.conf files and tell Wine to install a registry in /root when I install. Edit the file called "config" in there. That should work.
