I have HL & Cstrike installed on my windows drive and I'm trying to get it to work under linux.
When I start it with
wine hl.exe -- hl.exe -console -w 640 -game cstrike +connect servername
it starts and gets to the console and says connecting to servername but I get this on the stdout/err:
err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection Critical section 0x4010b910 wait timed out, retrying (60 sec) fs=0237
Likewise, I get the same (or similar) error if I try running the SETUP.EXE to install somewhere else. Everything I've tried comes up with the same err.
Any ideas?
