The only thing that I seem to have problems with now is that the sound seems to quit shortly after the game starts. I was also having the graphics font problem, but I applied the fix in the howto.

- I have a windows installation.
- When I installed wine (latest csv copy), it automatically pointed everything to my windows partition.
- For my local wine.cfg, I changed the c: to a blank directory, otherwise the networking didn't seem to work.

On a bright note... playing without sound must have helped me play much better. :)

Any idea on the sound issue?

- I have a SB Live.
- If I go back to X and then back into the game, the sound will come back for a second or so.
- If I go to the menu, the sound works there.

Thanks Z||000002||deckrdx||12-31-2000||01:04 PM||streckc@bigfoot.com||OK.. I guess I like talking to myself... I tried applying the 'touch dsound.dll' fix and it worked. I thought it was different because I did hear some sound to start with. Now I just must set the sound delay.

One thing I must do now though is after its done precaching resources, I have to re-execute a connect : command.
